I've been a career counselor for the last seven months and in the university student services profession for the past 4.5 years.

Received my MA in Higher Education and Student Affairs from OSU in 2002 and will be going back to school to get my PhD this fall. I've already been accepted at Indiana, turned down by Harvard, and am still waiting to hear from Vanderbilt, Loyola-Chicago, and Kent State.

I don't know grad, Kent State is pretty selective with their grad school. Have have to be able to prove beyond a resonable doubt that you have either a pulse or somebody to transport your corpse to class everyday

It occured to me that we have enough variety in this community that we could buy some land in idaho, declare ourselves a sovereign nation and live as seperatists. We would refuse to pay taxes and pool our resources for the good of the community.

...upon finishing this, I can't discern whether I'm making fun of those "free men" wackos...or the Amish.

I'm an SAP Basis administrator. Basically, I get to do SAP technical support, system montioring, procedural documentation of the systems, work on implementing upgrades, etc. I recently learned that I'm going to be heavily involved in our next addition, so I will probably get to install 3 new servers, which should be pretty cool.

hmmmmm... let's see... entire DB of unemployed in this country (maybe the planet)... does NOT list one SAP admin or Oracle DBA... must be nice...
It's nice now, but I was unemployed for a year and I did contraact jobs for general tech support/helpdesk work for 6 months after my unemployment ran out (and I was lucky to find that work!) I'll be a lot more comfortable with my job security after I get another 2-3 years under my belt.

Also, if you're searching a DB for unemployment numbers, you might also want to search for SAP Basis consultants, since that's what I was before my job was eliminated. A large number of consultants were let go after the IT market crashed.

English Teacher

Varsity Football Coach--DBs for the past 6 years but moving to Spurs/OLBs this year as we implement the 3-5

Varsity Baseball Coach

BTW, Coastal has my dream job...
grad...I also coach Var football, DBs and QBs on Off. And I coach the JV baseball team.

We had a team in our league go to a 3-5 this past year, if you have the LBs, it is hard to beat. LBs are the key. Speed and athletes. Goodluck

I PMd you a baseball ?

That is the entire reason we are making the change. We have too many of the 6'1-6'2 190-210 lbers that can fly...we need to get them on the field.
