What kind of car do you drive?

Buckeneye, those water beads on your pretty lady indicate that you've got a thorough coat of wax on her. Bet she purrs mightily when you gun her on the freeway!

Sorry I'm just now seeing this buddy.
Yeah, fresh coat of wax. I usually do one once a month.

Finally got out for a longer trip last weekend to Hocking Hills. About 3.5 hours each way. Was pleasantly surprised at the pickup these 4cyl turbos have. But the mpg also was nice. I set my cruise around 75 and averaged around 33per. Ended up only burning 3/4 of a tank on the entire drive there and back. Combine that with the smooth ride on the long trips and I'm pleased with the purchase.

Just a pain keeping a black car clean is all.

Maybe all new cars have this.. but our 2025 Pilot display has the speed limit sign next to the speed display.. I am so impressed
Since it's always a concern that I can't find the speed limit signs and way too many towns out here make a living ticketing speeding

I have that with SYNC3 in my Explorer. Make sure you update whatever map system Honda uses when it becomes available in order to keep those accurate. It is definitely useful when driving the backroads and through little towns when the limit can go from 55 to 45 to 25 to 45 to 55 in a mile long stretch.

As an owner of black cars, I’ve found that a ceramic coating is a blessing. Once every two years it is a bunch of work to deal with paint corrections and clay bar, but the between is so much easier. Mostly it’s spray with water, hit it with the leaf blower and dry with microfiber.

For the most part I try to do all of my own upkeep on my vehicles, cosmetic and maintenance alike. I still swear by that little ODB BlueScanner of mine that it might be the best $100 I've ever spent. Now looking at buying my own detailing kit.

Only thing I won't personally touch is the yearly undercoating.

I’m the same. That’s why I do the ceramic myself. Getting the surface ready is key. Your own detailing stuff will help a lot. As with everything, the right tools make the job easier.

Enjoy!

My daughter has a 2014 ATS 2.0 Turbo - we got it for her about 3 years ago, it was my first real experience with the 4cyl turbo, DAMN! I got that thing to 103 with ease - She drives like a little old lady so its ok for her, for me, i would have tickets LOL

Yeah, the 2.0 was initially only supposed to be for the ATS to my knowledge. They ended up slapping it in the CTS more after the 2015 series years. Which is a model with another 300lbs or so on it. Still, they can be fun when you stick your foot into em'.

Can't say I do. But I might have to take a peek if you're suggesting it.
