What kind of car do you drive?

Just picked up a 2007 Lotus Elise as a weekender.

Saved it from Michigan. The 3 hour drive back really wasn't as bad as I imagined after hearing/reading all kinds of reviews of the ride. That being said, I did actively avoid potholes and bumps and everything else I could. The seats are a fixed shape and come with basically just leather as the padding, though they do slide front or back, and it wasn't terribly uncomfortable, but I would never call it a cruiser. Honestly, I've never driven a car as rewarding as the Elise. I'll try to come up with some non-cliche comments, but the car literally and figuratively fits like a glove. It's so small, I passed a Chevy Spark and it looked like a minivan. It's so low, turnpike ticket booths require you to basically stand up to get a ticket. But it's so fast. 190hp I4 doesn't sound like much until you put it in 2000lbs of car. Adding me and a buddy would basically add a 20-25% of the cars weight.

"Simplify, then add lightness" as Colin Chapman would say.
Drove one of those up 60 to Green's Tea Room once.

So, the NFBuck family truckster was jacked from the airport a few weeks back and I'm in the market for a new vehicle. After getting outta work early this afternoon, I swung by the Jeep dealership and test drove a Wrangler Unlimited Sahara. I liked it a lot. Much smoother ride than I anticipated, and though smaller than my previous vehicle (Explorer), still roomier than I thought. Any Jeep folks here for some pros/cons?

Looked exactly like this, and the price they're willing to give me is pretty solid.

Drove by a dealership today on my lunch break and the 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimiteds caught my eye. Was hoping to squeeze two more years out of my Camry but I don't think it'll make it without some major transmission and suspension work.

Start practicing your Jeep wave, you nancy.
Sooo, out of nowhere I have been tempted to get a Grand Cherokee. Maybe not my most wise financial and practical decision, but damn I want one. Going to test drive a used one tomorrow.

Love my Wrangler Unlimited. Would buy it again 10 times out of 10.

The only downside is aftermarket accessories might bankrupt me. I'm literally looking for shit I don't need that's not bolted down in the basement to eBay for some quick PayPal dough to turn into more Jeep toys. Didn't have the Wrangler a month and swapped the headlamps and fog lamps for KC Gravity Pros. This was like an epiphany. Now I need a roof light bar, and a winch, and a hi-lift jack, and flat high clearance fenders, and other stuff. It's become my midlife crisis wannabe Stomper to tinker with and accessorize.

And it's a fucking blast.
