Car

I totalled my Nissan Altima in a massive car wreck.
It was a one car accident, MINE.

Now Im driving a Nissan Sentra that will be my sons soon. So I am looking for a new vehicle. I want to buy American. What should I get?

New Ford Fusion-Chevrolet Malibu-Pontiac Vibe or G6..hmm

What I would really like is to find a copy of my first car ever. Yes, I bought it well used at the time, but it was a classic in my mind. A 1960 Chevrolet Impala convertible. Id like to find one an restore it again. That was when cars were cars and back seats were condo's.

2005 Chrysler Town and Country (silver), Signature Series.
2005 Dodge Durango (black), Limited.
We had to trade in the 2005 T&C a couple of years ago after the AC went out. They tried to repair 3 different times and it kept going out. We traded that in for a 2008 T&C that we're leasing until this fall.

I just traded in the Durango last Friday. Picked up a 2010 Honda Accord (made in Marysville, Ohio). My wife and I had never driven an Accord before, but we have a friend that swears by them. We actually intended to buy a used Accord, 2007. They over appraised my truck (they said they needed more SUVs to sell on their lot and were giving me top dollar). That allowed us to consider buying new. Got the car at invoice price with 1.9% APR.

We ended up with an EX-L V6 w/out Nav. Going to buy a Garmin today from Costco. Both the 4 and 6 cylinder models were surprisingly sporty. We are really enjoying the car so far. We intend to buy another SUV when the minivan lease expires.

I'm currently in a 1998 tan Buick Century Limited with about 96,000 (that's after driving down to Florida and driving 10 hours to where I want to go in Orlando. Ok, exaggerated that, but not by much ). Before I got rear-ended a month before I came down here, I was driving a nice red '98 Century Custom that was previously the family car (bought it brand new in '97). It ended its life with somewhere over 140k miles on it, but it was still going strong. The tan Century was my mom's that she got when I started driving, but she upgraded to an '05 LeSabre after some idiot jammed my bumper into my trunk at a stoplight.

Anyone driven the new Audi A4 yet? Really really thinking about purchasing one of these after the new year.

We're looking into getting an A4 Avant. My wife really wants one. I kind of want a bmw 335 sedan. Where we are located there are lots of bmw's available to look at but not too many audi's. We'll see.

I ended up buying an A4 shortly after I posted that. I have been very happy with my purchase, the car is solid and a lot of fun to drive.

The wife and I are now looking at buying her a Q5. We test drove one and were very happy, the problem is trying to find one. They are a very hard car to find in Chicago. Dealerships are selling out as soon as they get them in stock.

I highly recommend Audi.
