Favorite Bond movie?

As far as the poll goes, I voted for From Russia With Love.

A buddy of mine, who is a certified James Bond freak (even took a James Bond appreciation/film study course at USC), said Casino Royale was the best Bond movie in 40 years, possibly even the best ever.

He wouldn't say definitively whether Royale was the best since he hadn't seen it at least 10 times, like all the others.

Your buddy and I are in agreement. Casino Royale isn't just a good Bond movie, it's a very good movie period. There are a couple parts where it drags slightly, but overall, it's damned good. Thank god the wimpy/corny/ridiculous Brosnan era is over, b/c Daniel Craig is one badass mutha who doesn't need dumbassed gadgets like an invisible car to beat some ass in this movie.

I agree. The foot chase in the beginning was incredible and you find out how Bond acquired his Aston Martin.:)

Hey now, it's Roger Moore's and Pierce Brosnan's fault they (and the writers) sucked ass. Connery was brilliant though. His delivery of "I think he got the point" from Thunderball set the bar.

Disagree - "Moonraker" was the worst Moore movie and the worst overall Bond movie IMO. I actually think "Live and Let Die" is Moore's best movie (along with "Octopussy").

Edit: Forgot about "The Spy Who Loved Me" - Moore's best IMO..
