What have you bought b/c of a commercial?

Meijer has a really good grocery selection. I shop at the one in Lancaster.

Carfagna's up on 161 has the best meats in Columbus I think.

I had the same reaction as Thump to your "I've never bought anything because of a commercial" statement. I think you're kidding yourself if you believe that.

I hate the fact that commercials are trying to sway me, and try to not be affected by most of them, but I don't believe they have no influence.

Bingo. They ran the Old Spice RedZone body wash commercial every frickin' break on the ESPN GamePlan broadcasts throughout the 2004 season. I bet I saw that commercial well over 100 times, easily...muted it every fucking time. I'll buy a bar of Dove soap before I'll buy a bottle of RedZone.

I think I stated plainly I have never bought a product based on a commercial.

I have NEVER seen a commerical and decide, I must have that (save for when I was a kid and wanted every toy I ever saw) Commercials annoy me, and when they come on, I surf to a channel that isn't playing a commercial... truth is, I don't actually see that many anymore. And when I do, it's during a football game, and I already know what kind of Beer I like.

Anyway, I don't read 'What have you bought bcasue of a commercial" to mean "influenced" I have NEVER bought anything because of a commercial. Never. And I probably wont ever.
