Have seen this a hundred times today on Twitter because the question was posed by Eric Alper (Sirius host and music publicist). Saw a ton of interesting replies. What say you, BP?

I'm partial to Singles, The Crow, and Lost Highway.

I got the Grosse Pointe Blank soundtrack from Columbia House one month when I took my dozen CDs for a penny and didn't answer any follow ups. My roommate at the time must have listened to that twice a night every night before we went bar hopping for eight or nine solid months. When I moved out in Feb 1999 he asked if I'd leave it with him.

Those are great choices.

I’d add ‘High Fidelity’, ‘Rushmore’, ‘Dead Presidents’ and ‘O Brother, Where Art Thou?‘

Then, depending on whether you’d look at it as a soundtrack or a score...’Friday Night Lights.’ Explosions in the Sky was perfect for that film.

O Brother, Where Art Thou? is legendary for I Am a Man of Constant Sorrow and O Death, but the rest of the soundtrack is lacking after those two, IMHO.

Hell, Constant Sorrow is on the soundtack four times.

Yes times a million to Singles, that was one of my favorite albums in HS and still holds up - but I have literally never seen the movie!

Also agree with Trainspotting.

Does The Wall count?
