They also could have been beat by a lot of very average teams like Cincinnati, Wisconsin, Penn State, Purdue, Illinois, and Michigan.Holy Buckeye says that 2002 could beat any team at any time. Pre-ordained by God.

Likewise, in terms of absolute talent, the 1998 team still has the edge for me. If they don't blow that lead to MSU, the entire course of...well everything...could have been different. But I have to go with 2002 over 1968 for their resilience and win over a team that was considered Goliath at he time.I can't have the best team in the history of the program as one that found a way to lose to a pathetic VT team at home.
2015 I expect them to go undefeated and beat TCU in the Championship game. Average 45+ points/game and have a top 10 defense. This team will go down as one of the NCAA greatest of all time. This year is gonna be special.
Luckily, I'm a much older fuck. I remember 1968. Shit-ton of sophomores, back when freshman couldn't play, so we essentially had a team with a shit-ton of true-freshman equivalents. We shutout a #1 Purdue team we weren't supposed to even beat, we ape-fucked Michigan, and we beat the shit out of an O.J. Simpson-led USC for the national title. 10-0 back when 10-0 was really something. In my lifetime, it's 2002
How do you beat 14? Bear D, early in the season. At the Shoe if you feel like it.
How do you beat 06? Fatten them up after tsun, literally and figuratively. Then unleash a hungry, nasty team coached by some guy using Florida as a stepping stone.
How do you beat 2002?
I voted Other (2015) as well. Hey, this could be a very special, and most importantly for a fan like me, interesting season.
