But honestly I'd take Undefeated over Undisputed when it comes to GOAT discussions
I'd rank the top 3 as 1968, 2014, and 2002.

1968: Undefeated. Sophomore-laden team back when freshman could not play. Had several close calls during regular season. Destroyed Michigan and dominated OJ Simpson-led USC.
2014: Had one early-season loss due mainly to inexperienced offense. Dominated the rest of the regular season except for PSU OT game. Ran through post-season, including #1 and #2 teams.
2002: Only 14-0 team in FBS history until 2013 FSU, yet had quite a few nail-biters during regular season (Cincinnati, Wisconsin, Purdue, Michigan). Upset defending champ Miami in BCS title game.

Had we pulled out the VT game and then played out the season like we did, the 2014 team would be the #1 Buckeye team ever in my mind.

2015. I'm trying to keep my expectations in check, but dammit, I expect OSU to roll over everyone this year. Urban has got them running like a well-oiled machine, and that Cardale Jones kid is amazing. I hope he starts, but Miller or Barrett are both excellent. What an embarrassment of riches.

I can't decide '02 vs '14. I was 1 in '68. If I had to bet on who would win between end of the year '02 vs end of the year '14 I would pick '14.

Some of those 90s teams were sure loaded with NFL talent but never won it all.

Thanks for making the poll and doing the research, LJB. This topic usually makes for great discussion.

3) 2002 - Had a lot of close games against some average teams, but found ways to win them all.
2) 2014 - Loss to an average VT team, overcame plenty of adversity in the QB position and had an amazing three game run to close out the season.
1) 1968 - Before my time, but I heard they were pretty good. Beat #2 USC, #4 Michigan and #1 Purdue.

I think the 2002 defense was the best I've seen, but the 2014 offense would have blown the doors off of the 2002 group that was made up of MoC and a bunch of moxie. Bollman never seemed to get the most of out of his OL like Warinner has done since he's been here. Unless you can give me a DL of all Bosa's I don't think I'll every see a unit like the one we had in 2002.

2015 I expect them to go undefeated and beat TCU in the Championship game. Average 45+ points/game and have a top 10 defense. This team will go down as one of the NCAA greatest of all time. This year is gonna be special.

You could, but I view 2014 as a more "complete" team. While the 2002 defense was phenomenal, the offense was downright ugly at times. 2014's defense had some hiccups, just not on the same level as 2002's offense, IMO. Thus, it was a more complete team overall to me.
Holy Buckeye says that 2002 could beat any team at any time. Pre-ordained by God.

I'd put 2014 in 3rd and I never saw 1968 play so its hard to judge them vs 2002. But honestly I'd take Undefeated over Undisputed when it comes to GOAT discussions
I'd like to vote other and say 1969 but I never saw them. 95? 98? 05? They all dropped games. Those & 02/14 are some of the best in my lifetime. 02 vs 14 would be a very interesting game for sure. I vote that this thread is a year too early. Or maybe three/four years too early.
