J. Toor has left the building. My tailor is a couple of buildings down, and walking back, I saw their logo in the window and tried to go in. Stores were empty and abandoned, and one of the doors had some legal notice taped to it that the landlord considered the premises to have been abandoned.

Had an envelope from Charles Tyrwhitt in the mail a couple of weeks ago. I'd never bought anything from them before, so I was kind of shocked to get a $50 card in the mail: no minimum purchase or anything else. I bought a belt from their "Made In England" selections. It arrived, and quality is great, but it runs long: i.e. 36 seems like a 38. I might see if I can exchange it at their Chicago store this weekend.

Not my bag. I have a friend, though, who is deeply invested in that world. He owns the exact shoe that Spiccoli banged against his head in Fast Times. He won't let anyone bang it against their heads though. Says it's been professionally shellacked for preservation.
