Cat's Cradle - Kurt Vonnegut Jr.
I also started Wizard and Glass by Stephen King, but was told, by multiple people, to read The Stand first. So, I guess I need to find the CD version of that somewhere now. Neither the Dayton or Columbus libraries carry it in audio book form. :(

Wizard and Glass is Book IV of the Dark Tower Series. With or without reading The Stand, you'd be a bit lost without reading books I-III first. :p

BTW, The Stand is King's greatest book, imo. (It and Eyes of the Dragon are quite good as well).

I never finished the Dark Tower series. I grew weary of waiting for the successive volumes to come out after Wizard and Glass. I should go back and read that series in it's entirety.

Yes...you should. I'm actually a little embarrassed to say that I didn't start reading Stephen King until a couple of years ago, and now I'm trying to read as much as possible. You are definitely not alone in your opinion that The Stand is his greatest book. All of the King enthusiasts that I have talked to think so as well, and I can't believe that it's taken me this long to get around to reading it.

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. Been around forever. I had no idea what it was about so I thought I should give it a go. It's really pretty good and the conceptual stuff is just as timely, if not more so, now as in the '70's.
