What book are you currently reading, or recommend?

Must finish Flyboys. Started it months ago, sat it down for some reason and have not picked it back up.

That's a perfectly normal thing to do.

A couple people in this thread have mentioned reading Inferno...I've started that a few times and have no excuse for not finishing it--it was interesting.

I'm reading Far Appalachia by Noah Adams (3rd try & I'm not stopping this time).

Every night seems to be Thomas The Tank Engine night in my house... I can name almost all the characters.... Thomas, Percy, James, Gordon, Emily... I could go on and on.

Our friends son is obsessed with Thomas, the best thing is that his favorite character is Percy. The problem for him is he is only 4 and when he says "Percy" it sounds more like "Pussy" Needless to say whenever the guys are around we ask him all kinds of questions about Percy to hear his responses, they are priceless. Here are a few.

I want to ride on Percy

Percy is not Pink he's green

Percy does not smell funny

I like the big Percy better than the small Percy (he has some figures)

too funny.

Since I have twins we have to have two of every character or they'll fight over them. I don't what it is but boys are obsessed with these trains... they have a ton of them... but they say Percy with no problems  It could be a lot worse... it could be the Wiggles or Barney.

Reading The Magician's Nephew (the book before TLTW&TW) to the kids. It's not bad. I never read any of the other Narnia books as a kid, so it's new to me too. They keep asking me questions like I'm supposed to know what's going to happen. :)
