I've been playing in on the 360, pretty solid game although they messed up a few minor aspects of the gameplay this year.

But that disc detail could be far less impactful to the next generation of game consoles than the assertion I've heard from one reliable industry source that Microsoft intends to incorporate some sort of anti-used game system as part of their so-called Xbox 720.

This would kill console gaming for me. I'd probably switch to PC full time if this is in fact true.

People like places like Gamestop. People won't buy the thing if it doesn't allow used games to be played. That would also cut out gamefly or blockbuster, or borrowing a game from a friend.

O my god tell me about it. I'm playing a game online with a few friends and we usually start around 8 or 9 at night and before we know it it's 1:30 in the morning. We always say, "well one more turn won't hurt" and by the time you stop saying that your girlfriend comes in and screams at you, "It's 4am what are you doing?!?!"

That game is the devil. It's good, but the devil.

Dead Island. So far so good, and it definitely satisfies my blood-lust rage that develops lately during the day at work (see the "how does work make you feel" thread as to why that is). My only gripe is that it seems to be taking forever to build my character up so I don't die when more than 3 zombies attack me at once.
