God damnit I hope FIFA 12 isn't the year they're ACTUALLY going to start making people pay to play on EA's servers... Isn't an overpriced $65 game enough, you money hungry fucks?!

EA Insider Deals(facebook) is going to be doing a 60% off promo on Fifa 11 (pc/xbox 360) and NBA Jam (yawn) tonight around 5pm PDT tonight only. The deal usually only runs for about an hour or so. I was thinking about purchasing Fifa 12, but I'll probably just go this route instead. The purchase is straight from EA's Online store if anyone is wondering.

They're always doing deals on a EA related game from the past year. I've seen mass effect 1 & 2 and Dragon Age on there quite a few times.

Went to Blockbuster to get their 2 for 1 deal, picked up Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and Medal of Honor. The selection was awful, so those really were the two best games. I finished Assassin's Creed 2 earlier this year so I wanted to finish the series. I know MoH didn't get very good reviews, but I'm always down for a new FPS. Played the first mission of MoH and it seems solid, but ya know, not much new in the genre. Maybe should have picked up Bulletstorm, but I wanted AC:Brotherhood and got MoH free from the deal. Whatevs, couple more hours of gaming for pretty cheap and more games to trade in along with the p.o.s. NCAA 12 for FIFA 12 here in a few weeks.

Dead Island for the PC.

Good game so far single player. Co-Op/Multiplayer was down last night after a patching issue but my buddies played it way late Tuesday night after midnights release and said it was fun as hell.

I love what they've done with the impact engine. I also love how they've tweaked the shooting a bit. Seems there will be a more balanced attack in this game between crosses and shots. I'm pumped. AND.... AC Milan is STACKED this year! One word: TAIWO!!!!!!!!!

Also, if you want to thoroughly enjoy the demo, you may want to set the difficulty at the mains screen to beginner. For whatever reason they always make the AI fucking beast.
