I was at my brothers and he has a PS3 and Uncharted 2. UC2 is by far the best game I have played this year, on any system. I love the mix of action/adventure/puzzle. If you have a PS3 and haven't played or do not own it, I would highly recommend it.
I got this game as part of a package deal when I bought my new TV. I didn't "get" the game until Christmas, as it was a stocking stuffer. I finally got to play it on Sunday, and it is a lot of fun. It's about as close to "playing" a movie as you can get. I'm impressed how it smoothly transitions from movie/cut scenes to game play and back. Very slick. My kids really enjoy just watching me play the game.

Army of Two: The 40th Day. Buy it. Play it. Love it. That. Is. All. Thanks.
Much better than the original, which I think I returned the same day.

The gameplay is fun, the aggro (teamwork)
System is improved, and the customization is a lot of fun.

The only weak part of the game is the poor graphics used to display the crashing buildings and debris/smoke, but that's a limitation of the 360.

Arcade style gameplay, more fun than intense.

Should hold me over until mass effect 2 drops.

I'm assuming you're buying ME2, not renting?

I'll probably still rent it, but just keep it for 2-3 weeks instead of 2-3 days like most rentals.

One fairly annoying thing about Army of Two 40th Day is that Rios is like an obsessed fan raving about my accuracy every time I make a great shot. After awhile it gets obnoxious.

I don't see this having much replay value beyond the first month. Very fun while it's fresh & new though.

Has anyone played Dark Void? The demo was a lot of fun (with horrendous music), but the reviews are pretty bad.

It's basically a FPS rocketeer vs aliens and cyborgs. Like Mirror's Edge, this is one of those concepts I wish someone could incorporate into a better game.

I've played it, if you like alot of wash rinse repeat then its okay. There's just enough variety in how you can defeat enemies that it doesn't get dreadfully boring. I wish they incorporated more of the freefall elements, it's pretty sweet.
