Heh, I just got what was in my Game Queue, Devil May Cry 4 and the Force Unleashed, DMC had the disc so screwed up I couldn't play it, so I am trying the force unleashed, fun game, but the Wii controller...

Oblivion > all of that stuff

I know, it was in your queue. :tongue2:

I'll stop bothering you about it. But I think you'd love it. It's basically a medieval version of Fallout, with more beautiful scenery and more character customization. More quests as well. Many, many, many more quests.

I wasn't really a big fan of Force Unleashed.. kinda disappointed.

Prince of Persia - Meh.

Cel-shading (illustrated) simulating textured graphics. Overwhelming graphical work (done very well) is completely wasted on the lowly 360 specs. Frame rates seem painfully low. I'd love to see this game on a souped-up PC.

Gameplay is mediocre as well. Combat is very infrequent, the jumping around is too slow to be as funny as necessary, considering it is 90%+ of the game.

Levels are too basic as well. Evil black goo surrounds the environment, but it simply reaches out for you for visual effect, nothing more. Another scene has a rising pool of goop, but it only rises each time you hit a new (invisible) checkpoint in your ascent. Lame.

That and every level appears to be exactly the same thing, with mildly different settings for the same stunts followed by a far too easy battle against bosses.

Painful dialogue, and the main character (you) should be a member of Hot Chicks with Douchebags. Some of the combos when fighting make her presence interesting, but by and large she just exists to make the game easier (catches you after any fall) and stroke the main character's ego (she can fly, do all of the same acrobatic stunts, yet she clutches to his back needily anytime he climbs across vines).

It took me a while to get used to but I would say that Force Unleashed is a pretty awesome game on the Wii, Zelda: Twilight Princess was a great game for the system as well.

With Nintendo focusing so heavily on the system being family oriented it leaves a lot of potential games out of the loop, which would be why I broke down and bought a 360 as well.

Oblivion is pretty amazing. I wish they'd come out with another installment.

The next Elder Scrolls game is in the making.. probably a 2010 release. Should be fucking epic. We'll probably get a new Mass Effect around the same time as well.
