picked up NHL09 today...awesome game. It was in an article of the top 25 xbox360 games somewhere online I saw. It's a lot of fun

Anyone else playing this? I'm thinking about picking it up after finals are over.

Haven't played that yet, but heard it was off the charts sick. I had NHL '07 and that was bad ass, for even two years ago.

Right now though, I've downloaded Excitebike and Mario Brothers 3 on my Wii. I've been playing that alot lately and it's awesome, I love these old school games.

I forget which mainstream outlet was doing the review, but they gave NHL 09 the sports title of the year for the second consecutive year. The general synopsis was that NHL 08 was so outstanding that EA could have rested on its laurels (like it does with many titles), but they took it to another level.

I'll admit, NHL has great gameplay, and it's definitely worth a pick up!! Let me know if any of you guys pick it up we'll play a few games or something.

It's actually a very fun, little game, though there are only two maps right now. More promised in future updates.

Don't waste your time, its a cut down- kiddie version of what it should have been.

Scene It: Box Office Smash arrived today from Gamefly.

Surprisingly enough, it was a fun game. Merely a rental, but the variety of games (drawing, 8-bit animations, puzzles, distorted pics, etc) and wealth of animations made it fun. It also incorporates your avatar character.

I figured I'd return it tomorrow after trying it, but I think I'll keep it around for a few days. The wife and I have had enjoyed it.

I think it was IGN. I remember reading that as well. Maybe someday they will put that kind of effort into NCAA 09!

The force unleashed on the Wii, great concept but the Wii Controls always fuck me up, I can't just melt into my couch and blow shit up. I like to drink, and after a while, drinking and standing up aren't a good mix.
