For some reason, I didn't enjoy a brief stint playing it. Part of it might have been playing it on an SDTV.
The reason that I was excited for the second was because of the end of the first. Gamefly it and beat it in a couple days. You can definitely do that.

I would say yes, but you could probably find a video of the ending sequence on Youtube if you weren't a big fan of it. It's not really the gameplay that got me excited, it was the cutscene after you finish with the action that was awesome.

Midnight Club Los Angeles... turned it off after about 30 minutes of lousy gameplay.

Beat Gears 2. Love the diversity in the design and action of the different worlds. Ending was meh.

I was thinking about maybe picking up this game but I heard the gameplay is shite so I decided to pass on it. They need to make another Need For Speed Underground with the same customization stuff as the 2nd one and add cops.

I downloaded NHL 09 tonight and I was having a blast with it. Probably going to pick it up tomorrow.

Couple things of late.

World of Warcraft : WotLK - friend of mine asked me to come back, said he would pay for my playtime, and if I liked it - I might stay. Hard to say no.

Pre-ordered End War for PC, looks great.

Left 4 Dead - Valve with another solid title, though the EA name just sends shivers down my spine.

Madden as always - had my biggest loss ever last night. 31-14 to some guy playing as Tampa. Every time I forced a turnover, I had a penalty against me. One fumble, facemask overturned it. 2 Int's -> PI called.


Crysis: Warhead - Crossfire & DX10 goodness :groove2:




installed Starcraft and Broodwar last night for a pick-up game with some friends... I'm a tid bit rusty.

I don't think Valve would put their name on garbage, so I wouldn't worry about the EA part.

That game is fun, but it seems like it could be repetitive.

Anyone interested in buying Left 4 Dead, Valve is offering a megapack of valve games (Half Life, Half Life 2, all the counterstrikes, team fortresses, left for dead) all for $100.

Pretty good deal there, if there is anyone who hasn't played some of the best/most popular games ever. :tongue2:
