Bringing this one back to life. So, Summit County has a BrewPath event. Basically, you have most of the year to visit 18 microbreweries in the greater Akron area. A few friends and I decided to start it last weekend. We stopped at the first place and we all struggled with our choices as nothing was very good (I could taste dishsoap in my porter). Well, while standing at a table waiting for the last guy to finish his beer a couple of guys in our group called over a friend of theirs they noticed in the place. The friend happened to own his own microbrewery and invited us to his place next. We happily accepted the invitation and he spent two hours giving us a tour of his brewery. During the tour we asked him why he was at another brewery and he said - "They are usually pretty quiet but I noticed their parking lot was full so I stopped in." Anyways, I have discovered my new go-to beer for the summer. The only problem is I cannot find it in bottles so I will have to get a growler and plan repeated visits to his shop. It is Thirsty Dog Blood Orange, https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/thirsty-dog-blood-hound-orange-ipa/542033/.

Looks a little low on the IBUs at 55, so I assume that it is not to hoppy. I had a great blood orange IPA at Mad Beach Brewing in Madiera Beach, FL a couple of weeks ago. It had a nice blood orange flavor with a good hop bite at 70 IBUs.
