Week 5 Games Discussion

white boy for clemson getting chippy … cause he was headin for the sidelines and was clearly shoved still in bounds….

clemson gets away with about 5 holds…. then some miracle ass TD throw to shipley who mighta had the ball stripped going in to the endzone

correction: down at the 1 or the .5 yard line

the safety who dropped his head.. think he was #1 or 10 or something .. but he was the guy who bounced off the WR when he targeted him…
Seems like you can find that situation on a lot of plays. I think more of penalizing targeting when it is improperly hitting a player with intent to cause harm. I mean how often do we see offensive players getting called for lowering their heads and punishing the defense?

not disagreeing… its the rule. Does that get called in the SEC against Bama or Gawja - NOPE, but it wasn’t called on the field but given what happened with Tua (Sun & Thur) & Sevyn today, lawyers might be in the booth to call down and say “well by the letter of the law thats targeting” …. they might be a little more “target” happy…

It's supposed to be called. It's not the penalty that needs changed it's the enforcement or lack thereof. The shit is all over the place with interpretations. It might as well be a religious movement

I see what you’re saying that he lowered his head after rewatching the video. But who are we protecting? If the defensive player targets and hurts themselves (like Sevyn) how does penalizing them accomplish anything?
