Saban had a bad case of laryngitis early in the season - couldn't make himself heard when he needed to make time out calls, couldn't bait the refs, couldn't fire up his defense. He got over that and the Tide became the Tide again.

That is ALL the espn heads are going to be talking about today. Hopefully, the FOX crew will balance that out with the evening game.

It's also speaks volumes as to why a 4 team playoff in a world of 5 p5 conferences makes no sense.

Not me. I'm not assuming anything when it comes to the committee, ESPN, and the SEC. Let's have TCU lose, too.
