Ah you're rightI meant if there was no delay, no replay, and they tossed the ball to the hash to spot it, moved the chains, and started the clock like they should have after a first down in bounds.

Penn St dumping off to the RB is still a better drive.
The refs mistake was the four seconds where the clock didn't run after the ball was set.The refs mistake caused the replay review which gave LSU a free timeout to set up a play.
Perfect result, maybe, but the execution was pretty bad. The RG (Bryce Bishop, I think) and RT (Shane Olivea) forgot the snap count, although the Olivea did eventually make a nice block downfield, and then peeled back to take out another defender on one of the more interesting blocks that you're ever see to spring Hall for the TD. The real key was two defenders taking Krenzel leaving Hall wide open for the unlikely pitch. You *can* "pitch it on the goal line. See Krenzel - Maurice Hall, The Game for perfect execution.
Anybody wanna guess Body Kount's facial hue in the locker room right now? I'm going "Boysenberry.'

Punk ass Cato June with the late-hit/blow-to-the-head in the end zone. Anyway, the play can be seen at 6:36 in the clip below. Enjoy!
They fixed that, LSU did a quick spike after the spot following the first down, the clock ran below 10, but they reset it to 14. Although it probably should have been at 13.The refs mistake was the four seconds where the clock didn't run after the ball was set.
After the big sack, then the scramble.
He got the first down at 0:15, and the clock just didn't move until after the snap, at which point it didn't stop moving for awhile.
BK on telecast: We can’t play any worse than this, but this is my first game so maybe we can. Guy can throw a whole team under a bus with one hand tied behind his back.Anybody wanna guess Body Kount's facial hue in the locker room right now? I'm going "Boysenberry.'
referring to the oddly slow starting clock after it was set ready for play and the center had it. it was nearly 4 seconds of a frozen clock before the snap, then the spike, then it kept running after that. it was almost like the clock manager was fixing the mistake from earlier in the play. They fixed that, LSU did a quick spike after the spot following the first down, the clock ran below 10, but they reset it to 14.
