Well, that's different. Yours for a mere $505,680.

watched this same video a few months ago. it all boils down to this: other than scrutinizing the movement of the second hand, you won't tell a real rolex from a good fake in the wild unless you take the watch off the guy's wrist and pull out a magnifying glass. for that reason, if you're buying a rolex to make a show of it -- as many rolex buyers are inclined to do -- then buy one of the best fakes. i'd much rather spend $1k on a great fake rolex and $9k on a much-less-common iwc (which won't be faked) than $10k on a totally fakeable rolex.
now with all of that being stated, if you're truly rolling in conspicuous income, then a real rolex is just one in a collection of expensive watches. that's why my quoted posted should have instead stated that i'll always assume a rolex in the wild is fake unless the person is of obvious means.
the next rolex owner who buys a real rolex because fakes fund terrorism will be the first rolex owner who buys a real rolex because fakes fund terrorism.A couple of reasons jump to mind. First, many fakes have been found to use cadmium, which can be absorbed through the skin amd cause catastrophic liver damage. Second, there are well documented links between the fake industry a d the funding of global terror networks. Sadly, it's not confined solely to Rolexes, though I assume most potential fake buyers are wanna-be Rolex owners.
Millennials look at my wrist like I am wearing alien jewelry.
