I have to say that both on this kid and the TE kid from Florida, our coaches have not figured out a good angle to approach a situation of brother on your team and the next brother is independent and too proud to be in the shadow. Losing these two to ND is an embarrassment to our coaches IMO and they should learn from it.

QUICK SOMEONE ELSE QUOTE THE POST

Here you go.

But really, I don't all the much wrong with what Wham said, except for the "embarrassment" part of it. He is right. We have not found a good anagle for the "older brother on the same team" issue, which is obvious with Smith and Heuerman going elsewhere.

You don't need an "angle". You sell the kid on the school and the program...period. Just because a recruit's older prother is on the team doesn't mean the recruit should commit to the same team. Just as there are loads of instances where brothers play on the same team (the Borens, etc.) there are just as many where brothers play on different teams.

I know you were all thinking it...

but it sounds like (and I hope I am wrong) this is another one of those boards where you only say good things or you should be quiet or you're a troll. I said "In My Opinion". You don't have to to agree obviously but there is no need for name calling. When this kid commits to ND, you can ask our coaches themselves how they feel about losing these two, while having their two brothers on their team, and they lose them to the same team, and let's see if they are not the least bothered by it.
