Walmart: Amazon Kindle Fire + $50 Gift card for $200

Anybody have one? I'm thinking about picking one up.
Yup. Definitely worth buying. Here's what I wrote about it in the Amazon thread.

For anyone thinking of buying one, I received a Kindle Fire for Christmas and it's great. I haven't rooted it, but easily added a custom Android launcher and programs and customizations. Being the right size for a purse is probably only important to the BP ladies and kinch, but it's a convenient size in general. I read an hour or two a day on the backlit screen with no problem - more than that and the E-ink versions would be better. The system recognizes the microphone on the $2 earbuds I purchased, though I haven't tested Skype yet or found a trustworthy Google Voice app in .apk version (which is what you install to get items that aren't in the Amazon approved list for Fire yet).

I read that Walmart will have the Fire with a $50 store card in this weekend's ads. That's the only deal I've seen for it so far. BP doesn't get a cut, but that's okay, especially if you buy lots of apps and books from our link later.

Fire 2.0 is coming out this fall, with HDMI & micro SD slots.

There's always something new around the corner, but for anyone on the fence, it will be even cheaper this summer.

Keyboard lag & autocomplete bug is fixed, unlike other browsers.

Speed is a lot better than other browsers, which weren't slow to begin with.

The long press zoom is a nice feature and a certain lawsuit from apple.

Definitely using it as my default browser now.

Razr or Razr Max? How's the battery life? Ice Cream Sandwich?

Just the Razr. Battery life, meh. I mean, it's clearly not as good as some of the other new phones out there. It's not too bad since I don't use too many battery killing apps (Pandora being the one big one that I do use). It runs the 2.3.6 Android Version, sorry I stopped keeping track of the names of the builds after they decided to stop updating my fossil Droid.

The phone's performance is absolutely amazing though. Lightning fast. I may be wrong, but I think it runs on a dual core processor.

Since I've been on the same phone plan for such a long time, I was grandfathered in to Unlimited 4G. BIG win there!

I think the phone has a dual core CPU, but I don't think that version of android supports it. I'm not 100% positive on that. ICS gives you hardware acceleration. You might want to check this thread out on how to upgrade to ICS.
