Valentines day blizzard of 2007?

It looks like the computer models continue to trend a bit colder, and a touch more south with the low. I wouldn't be surprised to see it stay all snow in northwest Franklin county, and see some spots get close to a foot of snow. If it continues to creep slowly south, like it has over the past 2-3 computer model runs, the Columbus area is going to get more snow, and less ice than originally thought. This thing has the makings to be a monster, and it looks like were finally going to take a direct hit from it.

That is pure insanity. They are probably laughing at a petty little one foot snow event. The only difference out there is that it is so isolated. You could have a 5 mile swath of intense snow, and only 10 inches 20 miles north or south. That is how it is in Eastern Cleveland at least.

One time I got caught under a heavy lake effect snow band in Cleveland and it snowed at 3-4 inches per hour, along with thunder and lightning. In 2 hours it dropped about 8 inches. Right at the 5 PM rush hour......it shut down the city.

Imagine that kind of intensity for several DAYS.......nuts. :wink2:

That is something, that if I've seen it, I was too young to remember. Chris Bradley on Channel 6 was just saying he expected to see that tomorrow. That would be sweet.
