LOL, I have always been a fan of weather (especially the bad kind), so naturally I have taken an interest in this storm for a while now. All winter long it seems like we've had all the storms run south.....or to the west.

If you think Columbus was bad last Tuesday in that 3.5 inches that hit the city, wait until this thing hits.......if it continues on the track it is on right now. The reason I say "if" is because these kinds of storms have a way of making an ass out of you when you make bold predictions. :)

From Chris Bradley on Channel 10

2PM UPDATE: A Winter Storm Watch remains in effect for late Monday and Tuesday. I'm tracking a big storm heading for Ohio with heavy snow, sleet and freezing rain. Here's my prediction so far: 1-3" of snow Monday & Monday night with another 4-6" of snow Tuesday. I think the heaviest snow will be along I-70 in Central Ohio with more of a mix the farther south you go towards the Ohio River. I'll be here all afternoon and will have the latest on 10TV Eyewitness News at 6:30.

Freezing Rain advisory issued for the St. Louis area....

I'd say, Sushi, that the Northeast is looking at a NorEaster, in which case the track will be important as to whether you get rain or snow.

It's looking like Boston will get a mix, with it turning to snow late. The worst appears to be about 100 miles inland. It could all change. :wink2:
