Man, I miss that shit...of course, after about a day or two of it I'd want to be back in Hawaii.

By the way, Mililani is currently 72 degrees, winds are 8-12, and the skies are partly cloudy (3:30 pm HST). Time to go mow the lawn...

Guilty as charged. I guess being a weather dork is no more lame than hanging out on an OSU fan site and talking about their athletics (mostly). :wink2:

I do both, so I guess that I'm a huge fucking dork.... It's cool though. :)

HEY... I rareley talk about athletics on here. :p

From NOAA's Winter Storm watch for Central Ohio..

THE POTENTIAL FOR SNOW WILL ACTUALLY BEGIN ON MONDAY AS A COLD
FRONT DROPS SOUTH ACROSS THE AREA. SOME LIGHT ACCUMULATION IS
POSSIBLE WITH THIS FRONT. FURTHER LIGHT ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED
MONDAY NIGHT ASSOCIATED WITH SNOW SPREADING OUT WELL AHEAD OF THE
MAIN STORM SYSTEM. INDICATIONS CONTINUE TO SHOW THAT ACCUMULATIONS
ON MONDAY AND INTO MONDAY NIGHT WOULD GENERALLY BE 1 TO 3 INCHES.
HOWEVER AS THE LOW MOVES THROUGH THE TENNESSEE VALLEY...HEAVIER
SNOW WILL SPREAD NORTH...CREATING THE POTENTIAL FOR AN ADDITIONAL
6 TO 9 INCHES ON TUESDAY.
ACCUMULATING SNOW IS LIKELY TO CONTINUE
INTO TUESDAY NIGHT AS THE STORM MOVES OFF TO THE EAST
. IN
ADDITION...EXPECT SOME BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW TO DEVELOP
LATER TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT AS WINDS INCREASE

You think you're bad....

I know where to get model maps and know what they mostly illustrate

http://www.weatherunderground.com/modelmaps/maps.asp

Ditto

That is a good site to check out, for sure. Especially for us low tech wannabe weathermen. FWIW, I think that the NAM has the low tracking too far north into Ohio......I that the high running to the north won't give as much as the models are indicating.
