Nebraska isn't Ohio State.Names?
I keep thinking of Nebraska, trying to replace Frank Solich, who was fired after a 9-3 finish. They went through everybody and his dog trying to replace him, until Frost finally came home.
Unless we get our shit together, 11/3 won;t be pretty.
Throw Drake out with him and that might do the trick.
Well I, for one, am very happy that there's no game this weekend to distract from imagining all the ways Urban should be packing his bags. What could be better than 2 weeks of this?
Nebraska isn't Ohio State.
Urban Meyer left his cushy ESPN job to coach a 6-7 team after the last full-time coach bowed out in shame because...Ohio State is Ohio State. If you don't think someone like Matt Campbell would be packing his shit 10 seconds after an offer came in because Urban got suspended for a few games and the team is struggling, you're out of your fucking mind.
Yeah, let's get rid of this guy because the football coach has his panties in a wad at being told he doesn't run the university and is now letting those wadded panties affect his job performance.

Drake's not going anywhere unless HE makes the decision to move to a university without big time foosball and all the crazy shit that comes with it.
It wasn't a matter of "They thought they were going to grace the field with their presence", but rather it was one of the very few times that a Saban staff didn't know what to do, seeing as they had a grand total of about five quarters of game film on Cardale Jones. To tell you the absolute honest truth, I'm not sure we win that game if we had JT...nothing against JT but 'Bammer had a whole season's worth of tape on the Barrett-focused offense. With the exception of a couple of games, one being 2014 vs OSU LOL. They thought they were going to grace the field with their presence and Urban stomped a mudhole in Nick's ass.
I'm not so sure Day is actually running the offense now...For all the talk of "Meyer should go", I have yet to see any names forwarded as a possible replacement, other than Day, who I think is being exposed more every day.
Yes, OSU attracts talent (and ratings) better than almost anyone, but that was an incredibly rare situation. OSU fired Tressel in part because Meyer was lurking and available. Usually it ends quite poorly to replace a coaching legend that has fallen from grace.Nebraska isn't Ohio State.

This is not a criticism of Drake; he may well be doing an outstanding job. But the article you cited was a pure puff piece - of the kind you would despise if it were written about, say, Jim Tressel (and articles like this have been written about Jim Tressel). Full of good-feeling buzz words and largely unquantified assertions.Yeah, let's get rid of this guy because the football coach has his panties in a wad at being told he doesn't run the university and is now letting those wadded panties affect his job performance.
