Poor job performance? How many of his first four games was he supposed to win with a team coming off 1-15 and with a rookie QB? They've actually gotten more competitive each week - ask the 3-1 Bengals. His issue now is credibility. He's coaching grown men, not college kids, and he's made some poor choices.

Most of them aren't paid millions of dollars to represent an entity valued at over $2 billion by Forbes. If you think this is a non-story to his employer, think again.

Credibility does relate to job performance. If you lose the locker room, you'll lose on the field. He could dance with coeds every night between the Super Bowl and the preseason and it would make no difference from a professional standpoint. The act itself isn't the issue so much as the timing and being away from his team without good reason, while they are also losing games.

I'm torn on this. On one hand, this is such stupid and puritanical bullshit. If Shelley has an issue with Urban, then that's between the two of them. Why does anyone else give a shit about their marriage? Do players and assistant coaches get hauled into the owner's office when they go out partying and dance with someone other than their wife? Fuck no they don't.

On the other hand.....Jesus, how can Urban still be this fucking stupid? How does he not know that A. people are watching, B. he looks like a shitty husband/person doing this, and C. EVERYONE is going to be talking about this because he's Urban Fucking Meyer. I don't know if he's so arrogant as to not give a fuck or if he's completely oblivious.

For as good of a coach as he was, I don't miss the constant media attention that came every time he opened his mouth.
