The 2 guys that I'm interested to see if Urban is interested in is Corey Dennis (his son-in-law) and Billy Davis (best man at his wedding). If Urban actually feels Davis is a good linebacker coach it wouldn't surprise me to see him try to lure Davis away from the Falcons. Urban needs some guys with NFL experience. I posted some place else that Bill O'Brien would be a great pick as his OC.

I want to be clear on something....Injad mentioned if Urban took Jax job, I hoped he wouldn’t raid OSU staff, and cited Mark Pantoni, Micky Mariotti, and Kevin Wilson.

I have no inside knowledge. When I made statement a while back it was just based on my own sentiment, and understanding how things work in this world.

Im confident Wilson stays. I don’t know about Pantoni and Marrioti....they’d be big losses. OSU should hopefully be able to hit HR’s in their backfill (should it be necessary). Hopefully it’s not necessary.

I don’t see Hartline going anywhere momentarily as an FYI. He has a plan in place......

Maybe he takes 1 or 2 but I'd be shocked if he took some of our bigger contributors.

I also don't see this ending well. Maybe knowing you can lose multiple games and still win helps him have piece of mind after losing week 1? I doubt it helps him much though and I'd be damned surprised if he makes it more than 3 years. Obviously good luck to him though!

The big difference will be he has had elite talent at his past 2 stops. That won't be the case with the Jags or the NFL where there is more parity. He has won with less talent at BG and Utah, but that was a long time ago. I wonder if Alex Smith would hang up the cleats for a coaching job? Seems like he would make a good QB coach future OC with a lot of NFL experience. I think he constantly keeps his eye out for up and coming talent outside of his circle like Herman and Day. Too bad Herman burned his bridge because a couple years OCing in the NFL would be good for him.

This is Hairballs fault. He has the best record out of all of them and Urban coached circles around him every time they met.
