Urban F. Meyer (Former OSU, CFB and NFL coach)

Gerry's all like, "God damn... if I knew this when I was at IU, I would have waited to take that picture of the scoreboard until later..."

That was Lee Corso back in the 70s.

DiNardo was the lame duck that had to clean up Cam Cameron’s mess in 2002. When Gerry took over IU only had 60-some scholarship players and was on their third AD in four years.

I see Urban Meyer and I feel about the same as I did when I saw Woody. That says one hell of a lot.

This is good, and I revere Woody.

But

Woody's departure was, shall we say, sub-optimal

Urban handed the keys of a Lamborghini to a fantastic, hand-picked driver

As has been said in countless books on leadership: You WILL leave the organization that you lead. The shape you leave it in says as much about your leadership as what you did while you were there. By that standard, Urban may well be the best that The Ohio State University has ever had.

Yeah reminded me a lot like Herbie, Spielman, and Galloway.

I mean Spielman and Galloway lol.
I used to like Galloway, but lately I've been having trouble understanding him when he speaks. At first I thought it might be the initial stages of dementia. But the more I've listened the more I've realized that it's simply the byproduct of having all of the dicks of the Clemson collective in his mouth simultaneously.
