(unofficial) Rose Bowl thread - USC vs. Texas (merged)

If anyone is listening to Leinhart on ESPN, he is so arrogant.

He is making little comments the whole time, about how they ran all over them and did what ever they want and blah blah blah.

They didnt do it when they needed it on 4th down.

he really suprised me with some of the stuff he said. that said, vince felt the same way after the heisman, these guys want to win soo bad that sometimes its hard to hold back

So for amusement purposes only, if VY leaves, and we're preseason top 2 or 3...any chance we are favored on the road against the defending national champs? I'd say not, even under those circumstances. Should be another classic.

Well VY had reason to as he showed on the field tonite. While Bush had some very good games, He didnt do it on the big stage, IMO Fresno St. is not the big stage.

I think Leinhart is just bitter b/c he came back to win the title; they lost, he wanted that second heisman; his teammate took it from him, last year he would have been the number one pick; this year he could go 4th or lower, if VY comes out.

Congrats to UT. Every time you needed a big play, you came up with one. That's what champions do.

As for Leinart, what can I say that hasn't already been said? I'll just add that it doesn't say much for his character that when he finally loses, he's got to act like a big baby and proclaim his team the better of the two. He had the chance to show the nation that he is a class act by congratulating UT and saying that they made the plays that showed they deserved to win, yet he only could feebly and immaturely claim he belonged to the better team, notwithstanding what was done on the field.
