Uniforms (Nike, Under Armour, Adidas, etc....)

"Somebody" made the decision not because they suddenly came to the realization that black is a school color, but rather to appease those that want us to follow the current fad in college football of everyone having black jerseys...

No issues. Black, or white, isn't a school color. As for Nike making money off black jerseys, I'm pretty sure that if Meyer wanted to he could tell Nike to fuck off about them...what would Nike do, drop us?
There are clearly issues....I genuinely want to know what yours are.

And I'm sure Ohio State will be making money, too. There aren't many decisions like this being made that aren't because it would generate money for Ohio State in some way.

This is all well and good, but are the Buckeye leaves black or green?
I have a couple and i can tell you that they are green. I also know this because of the black helmet. If they were black you wouldn't be able to see them. Yes i know the stickers are on a white background. It is a joke..what is next Combat Brutus on the helmet?

Yeah, like Nike dollars have nothing to do with the fact we can afford to pay $6 million so we can have Urban Meyer as our coach. :roll1:
You could have saved yourself a lot of typing and just used the emoticon instead.

If the above is a sound argument and not a strawman, when will Alabama be reduced to wearing cookie cutter black uniforms to support their Nick Saban coaching fund?

Probably when boosters stop paying for Saban's home, buying recruits for the team, and donating more to athletics than most probably donate to academics (I'm only being slightly sarcastic on the last point, as I have no clue how their donations on the academic side compare to the OSU donations from folks like Wexner, but if I had to guess...). That and an AD that has no problem pissing off a few fans (and it really is just a few, comparatively) for the benefit of keeping the massive athletic department chugging along.

I have no problem with a once a year uniform change, as long it's never the shit colors they wear at TSUN.
