Uniforms (Nike, Under Armour, Adidas, etc....)

The Nebraska uni had to get approved by Dr. Tom, so I think this was probably the most bland, vanilla design they came up with.

Personally, if we're going to have an alternate uniform, I'd prefer to see them do something along the theme of the Blackshirts, an homage to our defense.

These seem like a half-assed attempt to placate our fans who have been clamoring for an alt uniform for the last few years, almost done poorly on purpose so they'll stop asking for another one.

wait...your fans have been clamoring for an alternate Jersey?

Some of them. On Husker message boards, any thread about jerseys/uniforms, including cleats, gloves, helmets, etc is just about guaranteed to go 10 pages, minimum.

I've never understood the fascination football fans have with uniforms. Men typically don't spend much time agonizing over fashions, so all this angst makes no sense to me.

I've read the Wisconsin/Nebraska line too many times to count and yet I've never seen any black stripes on their uniforms (the Huskers appear ready to break that trend with those ugly as fuck things earlier in this thread).
Did I say they looked exactly like Wisconsin's and Nebraska's? JFC, reading comprehension. You're basing the difference in the three jerseys on a pair of 1/4" black stripes, barely visible from over 20-30 yards away.

Our sleeve stripes match those on our pants and helmets. That's uniformity.
Yeah, and the pants and helmet are also mostly silver/gray. Show me an iota of gray in our current home jerseys. Now, the road jerseys I don't mind as much...

That reminds me I need to stop by Huskerboard to see the righteous indignation over my last post in the uniform thread...

Well the Nebraska Wisconsin game is going to be an interesting uni battle

It looks like the designers at Adidas did a find replace W for N then inverted the colors.

That Michigan jersey is atrocious.

Whoever was the genius that concocted that masterpiece forgot one vital fact. They are sponsored by adidas.
