I picture some bio-chem major at NW being picked to go down to the equipment room to put together a design. He does not pay any attention to football and doesn't know what to do with the helmet stripe..so he sticks right across the chest

I have never understood the overwhelming consensus on BP to bring back the Gray stripes? The helmet stripe matches the arm stripe matches the pant-leg. I'm all for losing the Nike advertisement.

Somehow we survived with jerseys just like the current ones for years before 1993. Besides, last I checked the pants and helmets are gray.

Arguably our best era ('68-'77) was with the older gray stripes. Our current jersey looks nearly identical to Wisconsin's and Nebraska's.
