Whenever I think of chrome helmet I think of this:

which is why I don't see an upgrade. NCAA 13 basically has what you're looking for, since all glossy helmets are now overly reflective (surely a side effect of adding Oregon's chrome helmet).

Very similar to the train of thought I was getting ready to share. Shiny v Reflective. Most, if not all, helmets are up in sheen/gloss of automobile car topcoats (which is why the matte finish is noticeable when first seen in a game). Essentially, one can see near perfect reflection. However, that doesn't mean that it's sparkly/reflective/etc.

Just a distraction from an otherwise clean good looking uniform. Also makes a team (like Nebraska) who already has a a patch and an adidas logo look really busy.

FWIW I like the circle N patch Nebraska wears.

As other BP posters have noted, conference unity is stupid and you aren't allowed to cheer for the success of other teams in your conference.

Because the "SEC, SEC, SEC" chant is stupid you see...
