UFC 129 - Sat 4/30, 2 fights on Spike 8 ET, 5 on PPV at 9 ET

Great card. I'm expect a battle between GSP & Shields and will be surprised if it doesn't go 5 rounds....just can't see GSP losing though. Excited to see Aldo back in action....his kicks and hands are absolutely ridiculous. I think Machida will probably beat The Natural, but I'd like to see Randy exit (again) with a win, so I'll throw some vcash on him.

Hematoma sighting courtesy of Jose Aldo. Aldo gassed after the first round, he will have to have a better weight cut next time.

GSP doesn't look like he has as much mass as usual - may be anticipating a 5 round battle of stamina.

The crowd's reactions to the hematoma being shown on the big screen there were priceless. The loudest oohs in unison I've ever heard, and the oohs kept getting louder every time it was shown. I know refs shouldn't be swayed by the crowd, but I seriously thought McCarthy was going to stop the fight for a doctor's examination every time the crowd reacted.

I'm surprised it took as long as it did before they took a look at it

Same for BW3's. Every time the camera got that angle, the same oohs.
