My bad for not elaborating on "dangerous situation". It certainly could be dangerous for people not in the same parking lot, but a bullet fired vertically is about as dangerous as a bullet thrown at someone.
I also failed to mention he could have killed someone in a plane flying overhead, can I get an eye roll for that?

I don't understand the point of "rooting" for somebody to be declared innocent. If Ted Ginn is arrested, do I hope the charges are bogus? Sure. DO I hope he gets punished if the charges are true? Of course.

Conceal and Carry laws have dropped the crime rate in most places, tibs. Although South Florida is not one of those places. Gainesville is way north of Orlando, though.

I wished his family well and hoped that they are able to get through the situation and that he DID make a mistake.

I did not say what he did was a minor thing that should be ignored. He messed up. Thank God nobody got hurt and hopefully he will learn from it.

That doesnt mean that you have to act like a total tool to a family member thats been posting on this board for a while and is going through a rough time right now.

Lighten up. Show some class.

If you really are a lawyer it should be fairly plain- one is legal and one is not (without the valid permits required to own fully automatic weapons).

Fail to see the distinction because it is prohibited by Meyer & UF to have guns on Campus. Yes, of course one is illegal and the other not.
