UF OL Ronnie "Taz" Wilson (official thread)

I saw some pics of the Pompano Beach area after Wilma blew through. And it wasn't pretty.

Taz, when you see this, let us know that you and yours made it through ok, please. I hope everyone is alright.

Well my parents don't have any power and it'll be about a month before they get it back so I call and check on them a couple times a day just to make sure everything is ok. My mom told me that there's a curfew for the entire county and that everything is close including banks, the post office and stores. My dad has a grill to cook on but I don't know how long that'll last because when the propane runs out, where can he go to buy more? The line at gas stations are miles long and you can only get $20 worth and with gas cost $2.75 that's not enough. So I just pray that everything is ok and that everyone stays safe. Thanks for asking.

Great Game and congrads on beatin SCUM

Taz,

Sorry to hear about the hurricane cleanup, but I'm glad Ma and Pa Taz and family are all okay. Material things can be replaced, the most important thing is family. I'm sure you and your family will continue to be in the prayers of many of us on this site.

Thanks and congratulations to you on a fine season as well. I know it hasn't quite lived up to the lofty expectations of some Florida fans, but a new coach and system will take some adjustment time. I've definately taken pride in your personal success this year, just seems like you are part of the family on this site.

Enjoy whatever bowl you get to participate in this year. We'll all being cheering you on here in Ohio. You're a class individual and we couldn't be more happy for you. Take care and tell the family we said hi!

definitely glad to hear everyone is ok. the material losses will be tough I'm sure, but Oiler hit the nail on the head.

I expect next season to be much better as your team is used to playing under Urban's system. Some year's don't turn out like you had hoped (like OSU last year), but that can be healed quite nicely with a beatdown of your rival. Please take it to Free Shoes U for all of us.
