UF OL Ronnie "Taz" Wilson (official thread)

ysubuck said:
Bollman has been in the booth. He's basically observing and passing info along to Coach Tressel. ALL of the O line coaching has been done by Peterson the last few weeks. They have gotten better and his influence is showing.

If Bollman was indeed in the booth helping Tressel, then that is an arrangement we need to keep. Keeping Peterson as the OL coach goes without saying.

Back to the real topic of the thread...hey Taz, just commit to us and get it over with (you know you want to come here)!

Taz, I have stayed off this thread but watched with anticipation. I truly hope that I am going to have the privilege of cheering you as a senior when you are introduced with your family. There is no other like THE Ohio State University. GO BUCKS!

It has to be a good feeling walking into a stadium over 1000 miles from home and people know who you are and are calling your name. I can't imagine what that would be like.

How about 105,000 people chanting "TAZ" after a crushing pancake?

I had the opportunity to meet Taz at the OSU football camp back in June. I will make this prediction. Taz will be an AA at OSU! And the best lineman out of this class. I 've never seen a bigger, nastier and quicker Big Man than Taz. He will rock at OSU. And what a nice kid. He was a real pleasure to talk with and a real gentleman. Taz best of luck at OSU. It won't be long they'll be planting a tree in your name! 2008 a 1st round 1st lineman taken in the NFL draft. Mark it down!!!

Any chance Taz can drag Mo Wells with him? I mean there's no way Wells coudl take on Taz. Maybe Taz can threaten to lean in his general direction if he doesnt' commit to OSU :)

I'm pretty sure Taz is a lock at this point.

I'm a newbie to the recruiting scene, we obviously have weaknesses in some areas, but don't most teams with young players struggle to bring in new recruits since those recruits will have to ride the bench? Or do those recruits realize they're that good enough that they'll have an impact in our weak areas (OL, DL, CB, LB after 1 year)?
