Time to pack up this old, run down English defense and start building a younger squad.... This back line is getting cooked by Balotelli, Cassano, and co.

It's especially alarming considering no one on the pitch for Italy has blazing speed. (until Giovinco or Di Natale come on)

I really wish they'd go back to sudden death, "golden goal" as they call it. Seems pretty stupid to play an entire match, go to overtime, and the first score doesn't win it. Worse still is when both teams score in extra time and it comes down to penalites, aka the worst way to decide a match. Much better to have a goal scored in play decide it.
