Very insightful--thank you. I hadn't heard the stuff about Jimbo Fisher, which is pretty interesting to me. I think I speak for most of the folks on this site when I say we value visiting fans and the knowledge they share from their respective schools.

Varsity Club is a safe bet, assuming you are looking for a crowded/energetic atmosphere before the game. Additionally, I'd like to think if you mingle through some of the parking lot tailgates for a bit, you'd be able to strike up plenty of decent conversations with Buckeye fans who would be willing to welcome some guests.

*Side note: Make sure you pour your beers into a solo cup if you are at a tailgate, as some of the cops can crack down on that pretty quickly. Some of the road games I have been to are incredibly lax compared to the strict open container rules I'm used to at Buckeye tailgates.

Edit: I just saw what this thread turned into in the last page or two. Disregard my post. Carry on, everyone

No it's a great post...I never meant for any fan from another school not to enjoy the atmosphere in Columbus...I'm just expecting something awesome to happen this year for Buckeye Nation...bowl or not.

If you have some free time google Jimbo Fisher UAB and Alabama Board of Trustees. They also decided to take our plan for a 30K seat stadium off the meeting agenda the week it was to be voted on back in November. Some boosters paid for two charter buses to take anyone down to Tuscaloosa the day of the meeting so we could have a presence.

This is what happens when UAB and UAH allow the board of trustees to be infested with UATards.

Hey seriously welcome to BP. Like I said...just a tad grumpy as of late, looking forward to our season.

Sorry but Eddie's Restaurant isn't that great. Over priced for mediocre food. There's other places I'd go to eat before I go there.

For breakfast make sure you go to Buckeye Donuts. They also have great gyros, fries, and other foods.
