Keeping up the tradition of uninspired, lifeless ties on the Concacaf road. 0-0. Yawn.

I get these teams are dirty, the fields suck, the refs are corrupt and the fans will stab you but I feel like we’ve graduated to the point where the US should be pounding these minnows, no matter what. Messing around and wasting 2 points against nations with 5M people is how you end up on the outside (though it’s much easier to qualify with the new rules).

I hate this stupid region.

Not the worst result. 3 points would’ve been massive with Canada drawing and Jamaica losing to Mexico.

Really need the guys playing at the forward positions to settle down and take smart shots. Too often, they get the ball at their feet and they’re immediately looking to make another outlet pass. Not having Weah and Pulisic hurts a lot. But Sargent needs to be that guy to make an impact. I was a little disappointed to see Berhalter go with Pefok in the second half. Would’ve liked to see Ricardo Pepi since he’s been on fire recently.

This is the more reasonable take lol. Was just frustrated in the 35-40 minutes I saw. A lot of clunkiness but that’s expected on these shit fields. Also look disjointed but first time this lineup has really played together.

It’s a start. See how they look in qualie #2.

Also, I’ll officially be in both Cbus and Cincy for those games. :banger:

Alright, I kinda fast forwarded through this again.

I'm more of the fuck this confederation mind.

I think I would go the other way though a bit. Really inexperienced group (young if you like that better) when you get down to it.

Are you missing Weah with Pulisic out or are you missing Jordan Morris? And given that. Should we be going Aaronson or Lletget? (And de la fuente over top of dest out of his natural position kinda adds even another layer)

Plus no John Brooks and there's maybe your other best player not out there too.

Still should be able to blow them away as it is, but it just felt weird. I will wait a few more games to wonder why people think Josh Sargent is any good at all. Thanks.

I know they subbed him on, but Berhalter needs to get Yedlin the fuck off the field. Every time Canada makes a run, they’re exploiting the space left by Yedlin playing as a glorified winger, and he’s showing no urgency to get back to defend.

It’s funny I hate VAR but also hate we’re in a confederation that has nations unable to afford the tech/infrastructure to use it across the board. What a joke in 2021.

(may have saved them on potential weak penalty no-call)
