U.S. Men's National Soccer (Official Thread)

Margin for error from here on out just got real slim. Not good when you’re USA and this confed is a crapshoot of corruption and shithousery.

Beating Mexico for cups twice this summer was nice but this week sucked.
All those draws on the road on shithole fields don’t mean much if you can’t win at home, they almost have to win, what, 5 of the last 6 at home if not sweep? I guess the good news is that Costa Rica is the shits, Jamaica is bad…the region isn’t really that strong…but this team isn’t either

Yeah they might end up qualifying but thats just delaying and setting this entire generation back having Berhalter coaching them.. it’s pretty damn clear he isn’t the man…but when your brother is a higher up in the Fed … and i guess Jurgen pissed off someone for not being nice enough to them… i guess this is what you get ..

He’s only in because Dest got hurt

I know. And he wasn’t doing a damn thing defensively. Berhalter was foolish to not make second half subs sooner. Eight minutes isn’t enough time for those players to get anything going, and it showed. Give Sargent an extra 10-15 minutes, and I’m confident he would’ve found the back of the net.
