U.S. Men's National Soccer (Official Thread)

Still too many clown show moments in the final 3rd where international level players should either be creating or finishing more chances. The heavy touches, bad shots and crosses, no combinations, etc. Feels like it takes dumb luck to score.

And I get that Bradley is a deep, defensive mid now but my god I can’t stand watching him make 300 back passes all game. This guy used to be one of the better passing and assisting midfielders in the world, now he’s bald Kyle Beckerman.

I like Weston McKennie and I like that he’s playing in Germany already at the age of 20.

I don't.

Yet.

He needs to dominate area in that position. He's just mostly running around.

Half hour in...not impressed. Some talent out there, but not much teamwork

They're just standing watching the crosses come in .. they have to pressure the defenders with runs toward the ball.

.

Just tentative all around. Some better stuff toward the end,. Hopefully at some point they'll figure out what they're supposed to be doiing and think less.

Almost seems like they are trying to out-tactic Guyana to death when in reality they are bigger, stronger, faster and can just attack. Good to see possession and strategy but goals need to happen at some point.

Hopefully is starts to blend and look more natural- combining the buildup tactics with skill (and a couple goals) this half.
