U.S. Men's National Soccer (Official Thread)

Also, John Strong is a pretty good commentator. Alexi Lalas still is not.

I almost think sometimes that FOX just thinks that if it broadcasts something, people will watch regardless of the production value or talent.

That's true to a point, but doesn't mean FOX has to do it. And they have Sky Sports talent (at its disposal) to boot.

The field needed some work. You could see hops and boggles on the ball with simple rolling passes.

Watch the ESPN E:60 on Sepp Blatter and how he's afraid to step foot in the U.S. because of a possible FBI probe into the Qatar World Cup (and bidding).

I normally avoid anything ESPN, but this E:60 is just another illustration in how horrible/awful Sepp Blatter is.

The man is afraid to show up in the U.S. and tries to not even talk to U.S. Soccer (due to his fear).

You know, honestly for a guy that played basically in one world cup and a year in Italy that got his club relegated, I feel like I have to watch a disproportionate amount of Lalas on my TV.

I'm sure Claudio Reyna can, you know, talk... can't he?

When you think about the most ridiculously overrated (as in, fame exceeds performance) in American sports, Lalas has to be up there somewhere.

Brazil built a $270m stadium in the middle of a rainforest and is now using it as a parking garage.

It shouldn't be too difficult to prove these guys are corrupt.
