My example was to illustrate the point that you can't take "they're recruiting me harder than another school" to mean "they want me more than any other recruit." And the kid's opinion can be factual, it still doesn't mean he's our #1 target at that position. Girl A is flirtier with me that Girl B, but that doesn't mean Girl A isn't going after some other guy harder than she's going after me.

Don't take me wrong, I do agree with you that taking the kids opinion doesn't mean anything in regards to how OSU ranks them. I do think it can show when a staff is backing off of a kid some, like we did with Diamond or Neal.

I guess, just to take the opinion issue to it's most literal, and not use examples or anything: Green is saying "Ohio State is recruiting me harder than Wisconsin," not "Ohio State is recruiting me harder than Ty Isaac." If he said the latter, then yes, we could infer that Green is our #1.

(And for the record, I'd be ecstatic to have either one of them)

Michigan, ND, USC, OSU are in the mix. Haven't heard a lot about OSU recently, will visit SC in the coming weeks.

According to Dad, the fast nature of recruiting is disconcerting but Ty wants to make a decision this summer. USC was nice and they enjoyed it, but proximity may be an issue. He specifically mentions ND and Michigan...but it is Sam Webb.
