TX QB Colt McCoy (Cleveland Browns)

ant80

Think less, feel more.
I searched, and I couldn't find a thread dedicated to this guy. He's definitely going to be one of the all-time greats at Texas.

Given that there are 2 Heisman winners coming back, and given that Sanchez is gone, I'm really rooting for Colt to win the Heisman next year.

Go Horns!!!

Go Colt!

As odd as this may sound, I felt he deserved the Heisman this year.

Great player and a great kid, by all accounts...but I'll be rooting for a certain OSU quarterback to win the Heisman next season. :)

I'd like him a lot more if we didn't have to spend half the Fiesta Bowl looking at his damn parents.

I didn't notice any parents.

I think it will all come down to who wins in the Red River Rivalry again. Tech is going to be weak. Missouri's gonna be weak. Don't know about Ok State.

What's Texas's schedule next year?

PS: I'll root for Pryor as well, but I don't see him as having much of a shot. Sure, Tebow did pretty well as a true soph, but I think it is unrealistic to EXPECT Pryor to win it next year. Now if you're talking about 2010... And I'll be honest, a major part of the reason why I'm rooting for McCoy is because I want Griffin to remain the only 2-time Heisman winner.

Oklahoma State will surprise a lot of people next season, especially if they improve their front seven. They're my sleeper pick to win the Big XII South, but they do have to play OU at OU. That's not an easy game to come out on top of.

Texas' 2009 Schedule:
v.s. UL Monroe
@ Wyoming
v.s. Central Florida
v.s. UTEP
v.s. Colorado
v.s. Oklahoma
@ Missouri
@ Oklahoma State
v.s. Texas Tech
@ Baylor
v.s. Kansas
@ Texas A&M

I know that Central Florida is supposed be very good:lol: but that out of conference schedule is brutal. I sure hope he doesn't get hurt/touched in one of those first four games:biggrin2:

Wasn't it UCF that gave Texas a challenge in 2007 on the road?
I would normally agree about playing these "pansies" so to speak in the non-conference, but look at Florida. Outside of Florida State next year, we aren't challenged.
