That would be the bee's knees and close out the LB class for '25 (I am looking at Hill as a Jack/hybrid at both DE and LB). This commit would be huge, seriously huge. Our front 7 in this class is getting really close to being assembled in the next month or so. Riley would be absolutely perfect in our scheme and bias aside, he really is aside from talent. If I were him and it was a business decision...it's OSU.Per 11w poster:
JL would also start getting Hartline-esque vibes on the 'Crootin trail if he's not already. He's getting there anyways, but this would be huge.
Get Riley onboard. Would be a serious game changer, he's the next great LB if we get him here under JL and Knowles.

Imagine having the recruiting chops of Day, Hartline, Walton, LJsr and JL on the same staff. No diss to Guerrieri who has built a very good class, but I can't put him with the other names unless he lands McNutt. Frye, the jury is still out...

Too soon old, too late smart
Have received my B10 mag from Lindy's, and there's a whole bunch of linebackers listed. Especially when you're only playing two. Yeah, I get that different D schemes call for three, but still.....and having spent several years in Texas, can state that the 'after-football' life in Texas is fairly similar to that of tOSU. Maybe not on Wall Street, but certainly in the many companies with UT CEO's. Or aTm.

Some of the biggest surprising news from Rivals Five-Star is that the No. 1 inside linebacker nationally might have USC and Ohio State ahead in his recruitment with Texas and Texas A&M trailing off. Whether that’s legit or a smokescreen since the Longhorns have been ahead for so long is interesting but it sure sounded legit.
